Will CpapDash work with my machine?
These are two questions and they have two answers. CpapDash itself reads ResMed S9, AirSense 10, AirSense 11, AirCurve 10 and AirCurve 11, Lowenstein Prisma, Sefam S.Box and React Health Luna, and on any of them you get the full dashboard. It does not matter how the files reach us: the Mule & Miner, an SD card you upload yourself, an OSCAR folder, or fully local with no CpapDash account at all. A Sefam S.Box or a React Health Luna comes in by SD card upload. The Mule & Miner is the narrower list. The bridge is demonstrated on the ResMed AirSense 10, AirSense 11, AirCurve 10 and AirCurve 11, and those are the only machines it is sold for. Lowenstein Prisma machines return error 601 with an ez Share card, so the bridge cannot fetch from a Prisma even though CpapDash reads Prisma data perfectly well. Other brands are untested and we make no claim about them. One thing to check before you order the bridge: your REF number is on the label underneath the machine, and AirSense 11 REF 39517 has severe power limitations on its SD card slot that often stop it running a WiFi SD card at all. Ask us if you are unsure.
How and when do I actually get my data?
Your data streams in live through the night, so it is waiting for you the moment you wake up. From there it goes wherever you want it: the CpapDash dashboard, an automatic upload to SleepHQ, or a download straight into OSCAR.
Do I need a subscription?
No. Your profile, every therapy chart, PDF exports, and getting your data out to SleepHQ, OSCAR, or a fully local setup are all free, forever. CpapDash Pro is optional and adds the AI layer: the Sleep Agent, chart explanations, AI summaries, ML trends and insights, severe-event alerts, and family or caregiver access. Pro starts with 30 days free when you subscribe, then it is $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year, and you can cancel anytime.
Is my data private? Can I keep it fully local?
Yes. You can run the whole thing on your own network with no CpapDash account at all: the bridge reads your card and hands the data to your own computer, and nothing ever leaves your house. If you do choose the cloud, your data stays yours, you can export it or delete it whenever you want, and we do not sell it or share it.
What comes in the Complete Kit?
The Complete Kit is everything you need to start the same night: the Mule & Miner device, an ez Share WiFi card that gives your machine's SD slot a wireless connection, an 8 GB SD card, and a USB-C cable. It is a one-time purchase, not a subscription.
I already have an ez Share card. Do I need the whole kit?
No. If you already have an ez Share WiFi SD card in your machine, you only need the Mule & Miner bridge on its own. The compatibility wizard picks the right option for you automatically at the end.
Do I need the app, or can I use SleepHQ or OSCAR?
You do not need the app. The Mule & Miner can forward every night to SleepHQ automatically, feed OSCAR on your computer, or run fully local. The CpapDash app is simply the easiest way to see last night at a glance on your phone, and it is free.
How do I set it up?
Put the ez Share card into your machine's SD slot, plug the Mule & Miner into any nearby USB power, and join it to your home WiFi from your phone. It takes about five minutes, with no laptop and no cables to a computer. After that it runs on its own every night and you never touch it again.
Is CpapDash a medical device?
No. CpapDash is a consumer tool for education and self-tracking. It reads the data your machine already records and helps you make sense of it, but it does not diagnose or treat anything and it is not medical advice. Always talk to your doctor or sleep clinician before changing anything about your therapy.
Can I return it?
Yes. You have 30 days from the day your order arrives to return the Mule & Miner or the Complete Kit for a full refund, and the return shipping is on us. Email support@cpapdash.com with your order number first. The full policy is at cpapdash.com/returns.
How reliable is it on the AirSense 10?
Generally stable. Like every WiFi SD card, the ez Share runs on the power your machine gives its SD slot, and that slot was not designed for the peaks of WiFi bursts. The ez Share works better and more reliably on an SD extension ribbon, out of the machine, with the Mule & Miner kept close to it. Its power saving, which other WiFi SD cards do not have, is what makes it a good fit for CPAP machines, even during therapy.
I changed my SD card and now my machine shows a card error. What happened?
Your machine only notices a new card when something is pulled out of its SD slot. If you swap the card while an SD extension ribbon or a Sleep Bridge stays in the slot, the machine keeps using what it remembers about the old card and fails the next time it writes. The fix takes two seconds: after changing the card, pull the ribbon or the device out of the machine's slot and push it back in. The machine then reads the new card fresh.
